We needed a base to begin ideating. Good thing for us Under Armour had years of research on their customers. We knew that we were designing for a specific person. This is is the Focussed Performer.

Ideation

After determining the why and the who we were building for, we launched into the task of uncovering what we would build. Through many weeks of ideation we shifted into concept testing which helped us determine the right paths to go down.

We tested our ideas with real users to gage their interest and then we narrowed it down to two ideas. Well we combined a couple ideas but we ended up with two great products to design.

Armour Bar

Introducing the Armour Bar, a revolutionary platform tailored for athletes seeking professional guidance to achieve their goals. Here, athletes can connect with experts in their respective sports and chart a path towards continuous improvement. The result is an intuitive app empowering them to monitor their progress and adhere to personalized dietary and activity regimens, optimizing their growth and performance under the guidance of their dedicated instructors.

Map My Run

We created a space dedicated to the running community by harnessing the features and data from MapMyCity to engage and inspire customers.  Our aim was to resource runners by surfacing the best routes in the world and outfitting them with the gear to train, compete, and recover at the highest levels. We started with Baltimore which is where Under Armour headquarters is located. We then created an immersive experience where if you pick up a magic shoe you can see the POV of where each runner is and what they are seeing at any given moment.
